As a world citizen, you have the inalienable right to travel in and out of any country you desire.
Under Article 13(2) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
Everyone has the right to leave any country, including one’s own, and to return to one’s country.
No matter where you were born, what your race is, or what your religious beliefs are – the world citizen passport is for EVERYONE. You don’t have to have diplomatic immunity or be the President of the United States to obtain a world citizen passport.
The world passport does NOT serve as a replacement to a visa, nor to your U.S. passport. If you need to travel with your visa or a U.S. passport, bring the necessary supporting documents with you along with your world passport. The world passport alone does not serve as a visa nor as a valid U.S. entry.
What The World Passport Does
The world passport is recognized and accepted by over 110+ countries as a valid form of identification and travel document. It would essentially serve as a universal passport that allows people to travel freely around the world, with the use of their passport or visa. Some countries ask for a foreign ID, and the world passport can assist with that.
The idea of a world passport was first proposed by the World Service Authority (WSA) in the 1950s as a response to the limitations and barriers imposed by national passports. The WSA, founded by Garry Davis, an American World War II veteran and peace activist, believes that every individual should have the right to travel and live wherever they choose, and that the concept of national borders and citizenship is outdated.
The United Nations and most countries recognize only national passports issued by sovereign states as valid travel documents. Travelers are still required to obtain visas and entry permits based on their nationality and the destination country’s immigration regulations.
